Day 129 - Wed 4 Dec 2019 - Kennedy Space Center

Another full day. We board the Space Shuttle and get blasted into space. We walk on Mars, dock at the International Space Station and relive some historic launches. We also take a bus tour around the complex and see a launch pad up close and the brand new Spacex building. Another fabulous day.

Unfortunately the scheduled rocket launch did not go ahead due to high winds at high altitude. They are going to try again tomorrow.

Day 128 - Tue 3 Dec 2019 - Universal’s Island of Adventure

A fantastic day in Universal's Island of Adventure. We start off with a leisurely ride in the Hulk, and have many happy returns on Hagrid's Magical Creatures Motorcycle ride and Harry Potter's Forbidden Journey. It's all done so nicely. We are very fortunate with very little wait times and even in the queues there is lots to see. Amazing.

Day 127 - Mon 2 Dec 2019 - Flyboarding

Martijn does his Flyboarding and has an amazing time pretending to be Ironman. He studied hard the night before so is actually able to get up pretty quick. Each foot can independently change the direction of the jet underneath it. This is how you can control your direction and rotation. The jetski operator actually controls the waterpressure and therefore how high you can go. What a blast. Then we drive back to Orlando.

Nothing much to report. Our day is pretty much centered around the pets. In between, Niels and Lucy work on their math & French, Martijn vacuums the car and Janine restocks the freezer with bread.

After our morning pet duties we take a trip to Ft Lauderdale beach and dip our toes in the lovely warm water. Then back for more pet duties and lots of cuddles.
