Day 160 - Sat 4 Jan 2020 - Shiny New Car

Well, not exactly new, but our car good a really good service at the local Ford dealer. Apart from the regular oil change they also fixed an outstanding recall item that needed to be replaced (under warranty). And they installed for free a small plastic corner piece of the rear bumper that broke way back. And they washed the car (amazing!!) and topped up the fluids. A+ service.

Another rare rainy day so we stay in. The kids do a lot of schoolwork. Martijn has a go at playing Fortnite for the first time... It did not go very well, to everyone's great amusement.

Day 156 - Tue 31 Dec 2019 - New Year's Eve

Janine drops the car off for a regular service with oil change and tire rotation. Considering we have done so many kms the car is still in very good condition as they are mainly highway kms.

Lucy and Martijn make Dutch Oliebollen. We all pig out on party food and watch movies.

We go for a walk with all the dogs and kids to explore the neighbourhood and playgounds. They treat us to some TexMex for dinner.

Day 154 - Sun 29 Dec 2019 - Houston, we have no problems

We make our way back to Houston for our next pet sitting adventure. It's a bit back on our journey but that's just how it worked out with the pet sits.

The owners are letting us park on their drive a day early so we do not have to worry about campsites. Niels and Lucy enjoy playing with their kids and we get to know the pets.
