We spent the full day at the museum. It is very well done and extremely educational. We learn about the events leading up to the civil war, the war itself (with a focus on the 3 day battle in Gettysburg 1,2 & 3 July 1863), and the aftermath. We are delighted to see a very open and honest narrative. We didn’t realize how the civil war tested the fundamentals of the new nation of the United States of America.
