We head to Amelia beach but unfortunately it is not beach weather today. It is grey and our feet are getting sandblasted.
The area is very nice though and we see some amazing houses.
We drive past Jacksonville and head to St Augustine, the oldest permanent European settlement in North America. Tomorrow we’ll learn about the Spanish settling here and their conflicts with the French and the English.
We park up by the lighthouse of St Augustine.
