We continue on highway 10 and make it to Texas! We following the northern shore of the Gulf of Mexico. We’re still seeing a lot of swamp. Whole stretches are actually elevated concrete roadway above the swamp. One thing we keep noticing as well is the amount of debris on the side of the road. Not just trash but lots of blown tires, whole bumpers, boxes fallen off trucks etc.
Another big drive as tomorrow we have to report for pet sitting duty in Austin. The kids are especially looking forward to it. They are getting a bit bored of watching all those movies on repeat in the backseat.
