Another crazy day of
driving. On the advice of the Texas Visitor Information Centre, we
take the long way around Houston to avoid traffic. Now that we have
turned inland more we leave the swamps behind and spot our first
cactus again. We stock up on some supplies for our stay in Austin.
After dinner we meet our new pet for the next few days, a lovely
cuddly tabby cat.
